Dr. Michael L. Jones Sr. was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He has been married for 32 years and is the proud father of two sons. Dr. Jones received his dental training at Creighton University School of Dentistry, graduating in May of 1993. After graduating he returned to Phoenix and practiced as an associate for 5 years before pursuing his own practice.

In January of 1999 he opened Palm Valley Family Dentistry to service the needs of the West Valley community. Dr. Jones attends numerous Continuing Education classes each year so that he stays abreast of all the latest techniques and improves on existing ones. Dr. Jones is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Clear Aligners, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He’s also completed a TMD and Sleep Mini Residency which expanded his scope of service to include adressing sleep disorders under his newly form company 123 Breathe Free.

Dr. Jones also requires that his staff receive CE's so that the patients receive the best of services from the time they walk in until the time they leave. His philosophy is simple: he believes that the patient should be treated as he would like to be treated and that is with the best quality of care and with the patient's best interest at heart. Dr. Jones believes in greeting each patient with a smile, which ensures that he will receive one back in return.

Dr. Jones served in the US Air Force reserves as the Chief of Dental services at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Serving in the Air Force has afforded him the opportunity to participate in several humanitarian missions which allowed Dr. Jones to be able to care for the dental needs of others outside of the dental office. 

Having had numerous dental procedures done on himself, Dr. Jones understands how important it is that the patient be as comfortable as possible during each procedure and that they have a clear understanding of what is being done.
